Last year's 3.6million gns Tattersalls Book 1 topper Noble Dynasty (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) had not been seen since finishing runner-up to stablemate Modern News (GB) (Shamardal) on debut over six furlongs at Newmarket June 7, but returned successfully in Wednesday's Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice S. over seven furlongs on the Polytrack. Tracking the leader in second throughout the early stages, the 4-9 favourite who is a half-brother to the stable's multiple group 1 winner Barney Roy (GB) (Excelebration {Ire}) was shaken up to take control passing two out and had two lengths to spare over Rifleman (Ire) (The Gurkha {Ire}) at the line. “The start didn't really go to plan, as he was a bit tardy away but what pleased me was when I asked him to get closer he did so and then shut down,” commented James Doyle, who was completing a treble on the card on some of Charlie Appleby stable's intriguing prospects for 2021. “He went through his gears and hit the line well. He has an action that would be more suited to a faster surface on turf and was a little bit laboured on this. he has a nice turn of foot.” Noble Dynasty is the last known foal out of the dam Alina (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), who along with the aforementioned St James's Palace hero Barney Roy, MG1SW-Ger, G1SW-UAE, G1SW-Eng, SW-Fr, $1,411,408, has also produced the listed-placed Wisdom Mind (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}). Alina is a daughter of the G3 Ridgewood Pearl S. and G3 Brownstown Stud S. scorer Cheyenne Star (Ire) (Mujahid), whose family features the G1 Haydock Sprint Cup, G1 Prix de la Foret and G1 George Ryder S. hero Gordon Lord Byron (Ire) (Byron {GB}).
